Desert Dawg's Wild Tumbleweed won Winners Dog at the Tucson K.C. show, Sunday, November 20, 2011! This gives him 10 points, with both of his majors under his belt. He will turn two years, December 5th. We are excited about finishing his championship so we can get his kids out!

White Mountain K.C. show weekend (Oct 1 & 2) were very successful for Desert Dawg Beagles! At Saturday and Sunday shows, 13" bitch, Desert Dawg's Angel of Love won Winners Bitch. She is 8 months old. Her litter sister, 15" Desert Dawg's A Gift from Heaven, won Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex both days from the puppy class. Their half sister, Desert Dawg's Wild Woman of AZ, won Reserve Winners Bitch both days from the 6-9 mo puppy class. And their sire, Desert Dawg's Wild Tumbleweed, took Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Variety on Sunday. A good weekend!

Isabella is co-owned with Pat Seifried, Dismal Creek Beagles.

In other places, in her first show weekend in Amarillo, TX, Desert Dawg's A Heart of Gold (Ginger) won Reserve Winner's Bitch from the 6-9 month Puppy Class, two days in a row (9/17 & 9/18)! Ginger is owned by Cheryl Rose, Alakay Beagles.

And, Desert Dawg's Wild Woman of AZ (Jezebel), owned by Kathy Glady, (and Ginger's litter sister) won her puppy class on Sat. at the Prescott Kennel Club shows. That was Jezebel's first show!

Since then, Jezebel has gone on to win Reserve Winners Bitch from four other shows.

Also--Desert Dawg's Wild Tumbleweed won Best Stud Dog being well represented by the two puppies above and the other puppies being shown at the specialty. Breeder/Judge Peggy Weifuss

New champion! Desert Dawg's We Struck Gold, (Dawson) finished his championship 5/22/11 at Durango K.C.!

A great weekend at Turquoise Cluster in Phoenix, AZ.
Tumbleweed, (Desert Dawg's Wild Tumbleweed) took Winners Dog three of four days and BOW two days. He won both of his majors, three points each, with a total of 7 points for the weekend. He has been growing up for 8 months and these were his first shows as an adult!
Tumbleweed also won Best Bred by Exhibitor 15" Beagle
on Saturday.
Tumbleweed finished his shows on Monday with a Winners Dog and Best of Variety win.
Our brand new boy,
"Desert Dawg's Thundermountain Sun Dance" won Winners Dog/Best Opposite Sex on Sat. 3/5/2011 and Winners Dog/Best of Winners/Best Opposite Sex on Sun. 3/6/2011 at the Fiesta Cluster of dog shows. At just 6 months of age, Sundance has a 3 pt. major under his belt! One judge said, "You are going to have a lot of funwith him!"
Sundance showed like he has been doing this forever!
Dawson just won Winners Dog/Best of Winners at 3 out of 4 shows at the Sahuaro State, Lost Dutchman Dog Shows this weekend (2/4-7, 2011!) He needs just one major-3 pts-to finish his championship!

We had a great weekend at
the Tucson dog shows!
Ch. Desert Dawg's We Struck Gold "Dawson" (above) took Winners Dog three days, one day going Best of Winners for his first major set of points. He now has 8 of 15 points needed toward his championship. We acknowledge the talents of Memo Cavasoz who is conditioning and handling Dawson in the ring.
Gr. Ch. Desert Dawg's Arizona Dust Storm "Dusty" took Select Grand Champion Bitch, one day and Best of Opposite Sex, the other two days of the shows.
Dusty won Best of Opposite Sex both days at the Prescott AZ Kennel Club shows on September 11 &12, 2010. Tumbleweed took Reserve Winners Dog from the 9-12 month Puppy Class. We had a nice weekend!

We had a great weekend in New Mexico!
As a new champion, Dusty took Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday and Select Bitch (toward her Grand Championship) on Sunday.
Dawson and Isabella took Reserve Winners Dog and Bitch on Sunday! I was very proud of both of them.

Dusty took another 5 pt. major at Scottsdale Dog Fanciers show March 6, 2010! She needs one point to finish her championship!

Desert Dawg's Wild Desert Rose (Rosy) just finished her championship at the Prescott Arizona Kennel Club show, September 13th, 2009!
This lovely homebred girl finished with a three point major, giving her four major wins toward her championship!

Dusty also took her puppy classes both Saturday and Sunday at the Flagstaff Kennel Club show, winning Reserve Winner's Bitch from the Puppy Class under judge: Pat Trotter.

Desert Dawg's We Struck Gold, Desert Dawg's Shooting Blue Star, Desert Dawg's Arizona Sunset and Desert Dawg's Blue Lilly all joined Dusty by winning and/or placing in their classes at the P.A.B.C. Specialty and the Flagstaff Kennel Club shows during the weekend. We are very happy with our 10-14 month old "kids" who were competing with top winners from 6 states, all much older than our kids.

Desert Dawg's Arizona Duststorm, Dusty, just took Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex from the 6-9 month puppy bitch class at the Canada del Oro K.C. shows in Tucson, Arizona, March 21 & 22, 2009! Dusty was just two days over six months and these were her first shows. See "Dusty" under "Our Girls" at 6 months of age. She is a product of a repeat breeding of her mama "Ch. Blue" to her dad "Ch. Scout".

“Scout” finished his Mexican championship at the World Dog Show in Mexico City, May 2007. He received two top ratings of “Excellent” and one “Very Good” from the judging panel at the shows. Scout was expertly conditioned, trained, and handled by Memo Cavasoz.
He is co-owned with Trish Pittman, Offtheridge Beagles.
